Bone marrow is found inside some of the bones of the human body, including thigh and hip bones. The sponge-like bone marrow tissue is responsible to produce red blood cell (RBC), white blood cell (WBC), and platelet which are the most important ingredients of blood. The essential feature is that the RBC carries oxygen through the body and makes the whole body and its different system in proper function. The WBC is the defense system of the body provides the immunity power to fight against damages and diseases. The platelet helps to clot the blood while the vessels are damaged causing blood flow out of the body. The supply of these particles can be stopped if the bone marrow is damaged or destroyed by any disease.
